Come celebrate harvest with us, right in the middle of it. Once a year opportunity…

Harvest is one of the most exciting times of year at Alta Orsa, and we want to share it with our community.

On October 3, we’re opening the cellar to our club members and friends for a day of harvest, wine, food, and a little hands-on work. Come pick up your fall allocation, see what’s happening in the cellar, and experience the wines while they’re still becoming wine.

We’ll have an active cellar! fermentations bubbling away, with the chance to taste fermenting juice, learn what’s happening inside the tanks, and, if you’re game, get your hands dirty with a punch-down or two. We’ll talk about how we decide when to pick, what happens once the grapes arrive at the winery, and how fermentation transforms fresh fruit into the wines you’ll eventually find in your glass.

There will be plenty to taste, a few jobs to lend a hand with, and a simple lunch shared around the table with the Alta Orsa community.

Club members attend free. Non-members are $30 per person.

Come for the wine. Stay for harvest. Get a little grape juice on your hands.
